Artist Statement
I have loved making art all my life and through most of it I found photography to be my most consistent form of creative expression. Lately much of my focus has turned to those parts of the natural world that have always fascinated and inspired me - trees, flowers and clouds. Through my photography, and how I incorporate it at times with encaustic and mixed media, I hope to express what I see and feel, the mystery that resides within them, their quiet strength and beauty.
Edmonds Connection
A resident of Edmonds since 2009 and active artist at Graphite Arts Center, I've participated in Art Walk Edmonds in 2024 and several past years, been juried into the Edmonds Arts Festival Gallery several times including 2023 in Photography and Mixed Media categories. I’m a member of Cascadia Art Museum, Edmonds Waterfront Center, where I've also been a volunteer, also for Washington Kids in Transition, and a monthly donor to My Edmonds News.
