Artist Statement
I am an experimental process painter. I strive to find new and unusual ways to make my paintings unique. I start with a concept, then allow the process to unfold. Being in an open creative state allows for inspiration. My work is always created in series. You will find layers of vibrant color, texture, images and mixed media.
Edmonds Connection
I love creating connections for artists to flourish in my hometown of Edmonds. I've been fortunate to help at the start-up of the Edmonds Art Studio Tour, Edmonds Art Walk, Graphite, and our local art store ARTspot. These days, I'm hosting Edmonds Sketchers, an all-inclusive group for any artists that like to get together and draw. You will have found me at different studio locations over the years. I've landed on 4th Ave and hope to stay for a while!
